Fresh 48 session

$50 retainer paid to book and hold your guess date on the calendar for open on-call availability. The remaining package balance is due on the day of your Fresh 48 session by either cash, check, or card.

$25 travel fee for hospital locations up to 50 minutes from Bloomington/Normal. Please contact me for a quote if your hospital is located further than 50 minutes from Bloomington/Normal.

Held within the first 24-48 hours of your baby's life, a {FRESH 48} session is perfect for remembering all of those amazingly sweet details of your baby right after birth. Your baby will be changing hour to hour, day to day. Time is fleeting! These lifestyle sessions are a great alternative to a birth session allowing you to still capture your fresh new baby, but in a more controlled environment. A fresh 48 allows you to shower, rest, eat a good meal and get dressed after birth so you feel more like you and are ready to make memories of those precious firsts with your baby. 

This is not your typical newborn session. I will not pose baby, I will not bring any props. I am simply here to observe the first hours of getting to know your new bundle of joy. I may capture that first bath, dad's first diaper change, siblings meeting for the first time! In those first 48 hours of meeting your baby you will experience magic you can not repeat, it is different with every new baby and it is something special you will want to hold on to forever, and I am here to make that happen. 

DUE TO COVID: Fresh 48 sessions can be held in your home. Hospital sessions are still an option as long as they are allowed by your hospital, the choice will be up to you. Please check with your hospital on visitor requirements prior to booking.
